Community Fund Policy
Slough Dolphin Swimming Club has a mechanism to support economically disadvantaged persons.

SDSC provides financial support for swimmers who would otherwise not be able to afford the Club’s fees. Thus, making swimming a more accessible sport.
A sub-committee comprising the Chairperson, Treasurer and Membership Secretary have authority to make available up to 50% fee reductions without referral to the full committee. Any 2 of the 3 members can make this decision.
In circumstances when a reduction of greater than 50% is deemed appropriate the sub-committee will refer to the full committee for a decision.
All decisions are reviewed every 6 months.
At all times the identity of the swimmer/family is kept confidential, known only to the membership secretary.
