Meet the Committee

Slough Dolphin SC is a non-profit organization run by a dedicated board of volunteers. Our committee works tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the club operates safely, financially, and professionally for all our swimmers.

John Munday

Chairperson

Oversees the club's long-term vision, chairs committee meetings, and acts as the primary representative for Slough Dolphin SC within the local community and Swim England.

John Munday

John brings a wealth of professional experience from a 30-year IT career, alongside a lifelong passion to swimming. He volunteered as a Swim Teacher and Secretary at another club, where he also competed as a highly accomplished Masters swimmer with international-level. In 2014, John stepped in as Head Coach at Slough Dolphin SC, successfully expanding the club to over 220 members across the squads. Although he retired in 2019, his deep connection to the team eventually brought him back. He returned as Welfare Officer in 2023, and proudly stepped into the role of Chair in December 2025. In all of these roles, he distinguished himself with enthusiasm and attention to detail, bringing exceptional organization and a warm, welcoming presence to the poolside. Always approachable and happy to help, he applies a wholehearted commitment to every project he takes on.

The administrative hub of the club. Manages official correspondence, Swim England athlete registrations, and ensures seamless communication with parents and members.

Treasurer

Responsible for the financial health of the club. Manages accounts, tracks membership fees, and ensures all pool hire overheads and operational costs are secured.

Workforce & Swim Mark Coordinator

Recruits, organizes, and supports our amazing network of volunteers and officials, ensuring our galas, time trials, and events are properly staffed and run safely.

DBS Officer

Works alongside our Welfare Officers to ensure all coaches, teachers, and volunteers meet strict safeguarding standards and maintain up-to-date DBS checks and certifications.

Handles all backend administration and direct debit management, focusing on streamlining operations and enhancing the user experience across the club's digital systems.

Tad is a carpenter by trade who has more recently discovered a deep passion for coding and software development. He brings a strong sense of dedication and responsibility to Slough Dolphin SC, utilizing his technical skills in aquatic club administration to keep the club running smoothly behind the scenes. Outside of his professional life, Tad loves dedicating his energy to helping others and maintains strong, close-knit ties to the local Polish community in Slough. Driven by a true commitment to the club's success, he prides himself on being easily accessible to everyone.
