 Slough and Eton Dolphin Swimming Club has received a grant from Berkshire Sport to run a specialised lesson programme for children who are interested in progressing from lessons to club swimming. The investment is intended to provide swimmers with the opportunity to develop their skills and hopefully unearth hidden talent and possible future Olympians. The lessons will extend the swimmers abilities in all strokes and will give them the skills they need to actively participate in club and competition swimming. The Club can offer a limited number of free places each term. A free place is available for one term per child, on a first come first served basis. Places will be available starting at the beginning of each of the next 3 school terms. Once a swimmer has completed their free term, they will be invited to either continue with lessons on a weekly basis throughout the year, or move forward to a club squad where they will take the first steps in their swimming career. The dates for the free lesson programme will be: 25 April-27 June, 12 September - 21 November, 9 January - 13 March.
