Report on day 3 of County Championships 11th March 2006

Dolphins added a further nineteen medals to their 35 medal haul from their first two weekends at the Berkshire and South Bucks County championships at the weekend. This takes the current tally to 54.

In the girls 200 metre individual medley there were gold for Ashley Lloyd (14), silver for Nia Kennedy (10) and bronze for Daniella Ashfield (11) and Alexandra Wiseman (12).

In the girls 200 metre back stroke there were golds for Ashley Lloyd (14) and for Nia Kennedy (10). Molly Griffiths took second place as a nine year old and there was a bronze for Alexandra Wiseman (12).

Daniella Ashfield (11) also took a bronze medal in each of the 100 metre and 200 metre breast stroke. Nia Kennedy (10) also took bronze in the 200 metre breast stroke.

Harry Good (9) took his first individual medal, bronze in the 50 metre breast stroke and followed it up with a bronze in the 400 metre freestyle. He was also first placed among the nine year old boys in the 50 metre fly.

In the 50 metre fly there were first individual medals for Charlie Messenger (10), bronze, and Alistair Barber (12) also with a bronze. James Crowther (14) capped a great day with a silver medal.

Ashleigh Lloyd (14) and Alexandra Wiseman (11) both took gold medals in the 100 metre fly.

The boys BAGCAT team of Jack Cherrington, James Crowther, Monty Lyman and Marley Farrell swam brilliantly to take sixth place in both their relays.
